Need some setup advice...Just purchased a Diawa Saltist 30H for 110.00 :) - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

In my opinion that saltist 30 is too big for halibut, is say its a perfect size for yellows and fish of that sort. I fish a saltist 20 for yellows and have never found it to be too small. Those sabre rods are nautical about all I use when it comes to heavier tackle can't beat 40$
