Anyone have info on hooping in long beach? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I'm not trying to thread jack but I have been out of that launch 4 times now and I suck. I usually go out to the break wall and drop my nets but I think I am way to shallow, 35 ft. I also keep my nets down 45 min to a hour, is that to short?. I hope someone could lend us both a hand we would both really appreciate it.
