I've asked about that, but I don't think it's feasible with a kayak. Obviously, a lot of surfers find their ways down there, but from what I've been told, it's not possible to get a kayak to the water. I should check it out first hand to see what's going on.

I've spent some time looking for launch spots along the point. The few spots I've come across offer no protection from the swell and are therefore unreliable. If you can carry everything including your kayak over unsteady ground, then you are more likely to find a decent spot. For example, you might be able to launch from the cliffs (around Osprey St, I think) that go down to the water's edge. I've seen someone do it, but he was just going for a paddle (no extra gear) and didn't mind jumping into the water to launch and land.
