I use a Yakattack Pan Fish (long pole) with a extension to make it a little higher overlooking the shoulder. It has a gear track foot and a ram style clam shell at to to adjust angle, it can also rotate. I use another one called portrait model on the front (short). Lately though I'm wanting one that can boom out to the side. So I might try to remove it from the rear gear track sometimes and slide the (floating, rotating) mast into one of my Scotty rocket launcher rod holder, for a view from outside the Solo Skiff looking in. They do sell mount that do that but just more $, I don't want to spend. Looks like the new models have a lower mount attachment that allows being able to swing the mast 360 degrees. The Panfish is 33" tall and the Broomstick is 51" tall.
