The cat had attacked a sabiki fly and hooked itself in the top lip (perfectly) and was struggling against the rod. I grabbed the cat, bit off the fly and got my diagonal cutters to cut the hook shank. After I had grabbed the cat, it was very mellow and let me take care of it. He didn't even bleed and didn't sulk or react at all afterward. Like it never happened. But he hasn't messed with the fishing lures again, that's for sure.

I had a similar situation Zed, but w/ my dog. He never sniffed around the rods again either.


BTW, that is f'ed up if that video is true. I definitely will not be letting my cat watch that.
