T-Rex Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Rancho Santa Margarita Posts: 770	For halibut fishing I use a spider hitch. For YT and WSB I use a dropper loop. Both are good knots, but I think a dropper loop is significantly stronger than a spider hitch.
