The canyon collapsed...? Interesting. No, I believe the buoys were installed in the same locations as they have been in the past. They're anchored by engine blocks which tend to drift a bit over time. The thinking behind the new lower profile ecological buoys is that they will hopefully drift less. The company I work for has been putting the buoys in place for the last 10 or so years.
