There's a lot of untapped kayak fishing potential here for sure. Thing around here is that, most of the time, you are on your own. No crowds to speak of at 99% of the fishing spots, a big change from SoCal.

It would be worth a road trip up here for the fall salmon run. Pretty exciting fishing, you can camp anywhere you want.

I spent many years kayak fishing at La Jolla and North County reefs, as far as ocean fishing goes, it's pretty tough to beat. You guys are doing alright.
