Watching that video was one second laughing and than thinking OH NO bad for the gear. George got stuck is the rip tide and turned sideways right where it's almost more sand than water. Greg's misfortune was not seeing the wave in time to grab the side handle, OUCH. Tony you made it. My wife wants to go camping at San O, but I've never taken my kayak there and it looks like you have to keep an eye out more and stay in the surf zone a little longer than at La Jolla, to pick the calmer spots. Than you have to dismount fast and pull the kayak up the sand out of the beach breakers. Rough landings but how was the fishing. Another great video Tony. Mark
