No, I guess you don't understand. My hard fought for GPS coordinates are not saved in GPX format because they are written down on PAPER! If I don't own the fishfinder I can't mark/save/download waypoints from the device, upload them and convert it using something like GPSbable.org. If I just had a file from a Garmin or whatever I can use the aforementioned site. Again, I know how to do that. What I don't know how to do is take hand written coordinates that I have logged for years, put them on my computer, convert them to GPX and then I can do the rest to put them on my FF.
