Got a late start and launched around 7:30 a.m. With all the fog I didn't realize how fast the current was rippin...when it started to clear I could see I was well on my way to Bird Rock. The slog back around the corner against the current and NW wind seemed to take forever.

Managed one calico (released) on a smelt just outside the surf line early and had one big mac crushed and dropped. Maybe better luck tomorrow...
