Ya, I broke off my leader on one and was too lazy to cut mono from one rig, uni it and tie a hook on, so I just straight tied to the spectra, sure can feel every lil headshake and tail beat. Can not imagine straight spectra on a big fish, it would mess you up.
The halibut............... I was going to claim it on the beach, but this guy finally came back
