I saw this kayak in person like 8 months ago. Dont bother, its trash. Trash is even written all over the top of the yak, he must of pulled it out of the trash at the factory, but he says he bought it from some guy. He told me it wasn't a factory blem or second.....yea. Its completely unfinished, there's no hatches because they aren't cut out so there is no where to store your gear. There's no pad eyes except for the ones he drilled himself for the seat and like you said no rod holders. He wanted 500$ originally, 300$ is cheap but after all the work and money you'd have to put into, hard to say if it's worth it.
