looks like we may have a few guys from up here going to attend this trout extravaganza, does anyone know of a good cheap motel near the lake in case we come out friday night?

it's about 2 hrs out from where we are coming from...thx b

So any idea of how many kayakers were talking about that might be going?
Maby we could get a group deal on entry costs?
If not anyone have a link to any online coupons for fishing there?

looks like the prices are pretty much in stone as this is a private lake, 22.00 a head, no license needed, big deal...but they stock big trout and kitties there, big enough for a sliegh ride on the yak, could turn out to be a big group, hopefully the weather cooperates...

Below is a map of Irvine Lake if you haven't fished it...

You can launch at the boat ramp or the kayak launch closer to the tackle store. There are other kayak launch areas near Trout Islands as well.
Bring you kayak cart for either launch just in case.
