the difference between the 200 and the 300 is size of the reel and the size of the spool thus more or less inches of line back on the spool per crank. The 300 is a bit larger than the 200. The 200 is great for the bays and the 300 is better suited for Calico/Sand Bass.
I think the E is last years model and the g is this years. There are more differences, but you can go to cabbalas/bass pro/ tackle warehouse and do your home work. ![]()

For calico fishing you may want to consider the 300EJ instead of the 300E. The 300EJ has a faster retrieve and comes with an ergonomic power handle. The EJ will let you crank calicos away from structure and kelp faster.
