I think it was that way everywhere...the bait was so thick in redondo
every place we went was full of bait, macks to 12 inches dines were about 4-6 inches, thats it oh that and bait scales...lol...water has to warm up, that's all there is to it...still nice to get out OTW

thinking bout hitting up dana point this week.. anyone familiar w/ the area that can point me in the right directions to the kelp beds??? thankss in advance

After a couple of macs... I managed to pull out the water one of these... Let em go cause I don't eat what I catch

Life got in the way and I didn't get out to NPH till almost 5pm. Left by 6:30 with 4 calico's and 1 nice sized sandbass in about an hour of fishing. By the coast guard dock it was WFO on macs. After they destroyed 2 swimbaits, I had to get out of the mac zone.

Sounds like you guys had similar conditions. Any action outside of the harbor?

The weather looks good this weekend, I'm going to try again for more than a couple of hours this time.

Notthing out the harbor but macs,lizards and one tiny hali.... i pretty much tried every from kroc spoon, dropshot fluke, bighammer,iron, live macs, live sardines. Over all everyone seem to have a good time
