Sorry I guess I should have clarified Im in south oc (mission viejo). I think it would be more gas for me to go to oex and get them than to go to irvine and get them for .75 ea.
Thanks for the great suggestion though, I really appreciate it!
I was hoping for a hardware store or body shop that people have found them at local to me. (I know its a long shot )

Do they have to be rivets or can you use stainless screws with some Goop?

I have some stainless screws but I just worry about not being able to put the nut on it since its a sit on top kayak and I would have to get in through the hatch.
Do you guys not put nuts on the screws? Just screw them in to the plastic and goop it up?

Well, almost everything. One day I wanted to buy a giraffe but he said he didn't carry them.

Have you tried Mcfadden-Dale Thats a real hardware store I think the nearest to you would be in Santa Ana
