Got a wide tow strap that I'm thinking about cutting to make the harness from..
Went fishing yesterday and had to carry the kayak down lots of steep stairs and its not fun.. Going up the stairs was even less fun when the shoulders are tired from the day on the water... Also lost my first butt, Got him in the kayak to check the size but forgot to use the clip to secure him. Went crazy on me all of a sudden and off the kayak he got... Should have known better.... |

daym! to carry a S14 with a shoulder strap. That must be a lot of strain on your body going up and down those stairs.
Man, I can picture you walking the Corona Del Mar stairs down to the beach. I had a S14 and it was a team lift kind of kayak.

GR6RR now think of getting that kayak on top of van that is over 7ft high
and take it down on your own.. Then carry that monster down the stair. At the end of the day carry it back up with your arms tired already with out the harness and no place to set it down to rest... lol.. yea I could use a harness to help me out down and up the stairs. ![]() |
