Congrats Chuck!! That's a keeper for sure.

To answer the mako question, they taste great. I however would not want to land even a pup on the kayak. They are very unpredicatble and like to ram the boat and chew on it, and often go suicidal jumping boatside and they just might end up in your lap.

Beautiful catch, were you using angel-fish for bait? Mine are 11 and 16 now and I don't regret a day of it. Congrats!
