Here are a few examples of how I rig my hoochies. I haven't noticed one to be more effective than the other. The biggest improvement was when I took Gregs advise 6 months ago and shortened my leader to about 12 inches. The results were much better. I also don't feel trebels as the back hook are necessary, and they just pick up more stuff along the bottom.
Also, I sugest making the line between the swivel and the flasher 25-50% stronger than the line from the flasher to the hook. That way if you get hung up and need to break off, you're less likely to lose your $12 flasher. ![]() |

I've had some hits on the white hoochie, nothing to write home about but definitely got some hits on it.
