It's no wonder I lost a good fish later that day. It was in 50 ft of water and it had plenty of life (me not so much I was on the water for 13 hours straight). A good gaff, but my game clip was not ready. Not sure why I tried to bonk in on the head before it was clipped but, after one bonk on the head... a flip ... a flop... off the gaff... in the yak...then back in the water before I could react. Always learning.

Thanks for the video and pics, not only are you a hell of a fisherman, you take good pics too!
It was disappointing to watch you lose that fish, as soon as you dropped your head down low I knew it was time for me to give you a minute so I went away.
