Flipping can be a real bummer. Leash stuff down unless you have the cash to replace whatever gets lost. Be sure you're not one who will panic in a tough spot. All of us yakkers love to paddle over and bitch slap crying men thrashing about in the water. In fact, I don't even take my rods out anymore. I just wait to hear some sorry arse crying like a little girl flailing in the water and I paddle over to slap the shit out of them...word. Make sure you can climb back on. Having help nearby reduces risk...but then you'll have to share your honey holes with someone and trust me, we are all saving waypoints as we go by your spot... Jim
