Well, San Quintin area is well know for WSB presence this time of the year. That's no secret. Don't expect we'll post the exact location - simply because we were turned into this spot by a friend of a friend. He is here with us on BWE. I can't thank you enough Cuda. I think I will retire at that place.

Since I happen to remember your couple of posts with a bit of an offensive "Gotta share the love... " attitude Stevo - I feel the extent of information Brad and I put out in our report is rather extensive. Let's leave it on that.

Another thing fo everyone to note - my Verizon cell worked the last time we were there last year. This time, Verizon gave me heads up when I called them to check that "the things in Mex have changed, and that my phone may not work in places where it used to work last year". Well, they were right - it didn't work down there this time. The last place I had the signal was Ensinada; nothing further South after that. Also, Verizon international rate has been bumped up to 99c/min... I'd still be cool with it if it just worked.

Baaaaaahja...

Hey Lamb, Where did you come up with the idea that I have an attitude of "gotta share the love" ?. You must be mistaking me for someone else.

I'd gladly apologize if I was wrong...

But I just double checked...

And since you ask:

Back in May when I sent you a PM with a friendly reminder that it's people's personal choice to share what they want to share and who they want to share with:

...and than your other comment to the submission post where you were apparently upset because the kayaker on the beach wouldn't share the exact location of where he caught a nice fish. The post was reported to moderator and ended up being edited, since your comment was perceived as inappropriate.

Lamb, If you think my 1st post falls in the catagory as an attitude, you are mistaken. I prefer to look at glass half full. The second post was as polite as I could be without going off. Firstly you are mistaken, again, by assuming I was only interested in the exact spot?. Amazing. I asked the question "wow were did you get that at"? and I got a smart ass reply -"in the ocean". Anyone would of been taken aback with such unfriendliness. All in all I am very appreciative of your concerns. I hope this helps you.

Judging by this post and all of the responses, the SQ area is going to look like LJ on a Saturdays soon. Glad you guys had fun, wish I was there.

I doubt it. The surf and wind can make it un-yakkable a significant fraction of the time. Beside's there's a whole lot of coastline from Colonet to Punta Baja and beyond.

Yeah but none quite as nice as that short paddle from the little concrete ramp out to the kelp. I'm glad the surf wasn't too large again.
