I coiled up the extra cable and zip tied it to the sail mast. The battery is in a cheap waterproof box bungied to the mast also. I run the cables to the unit out of the front hatch and just close the lid on top of them. I really didn't want to drill any holes if I didn't have to. I'm sure that it doesn't help the seal much but no water comes in under the lid. |
