That is a pig Easy! The little concrete culverts that they raise those pigs in might have something to do with the tails rubbing away. Especially when they are in there with hundreds of others fighting over the same food.

on the topic of where's the fin? http://wildlife.utah.gov/fes/pdf_pubs/2003_03.pdf.

My summary/experience is that fin abrasion/disease is a "tail-tail" sign of a hatchery fish.

Nice trout! That's about the size of the biggest I've ever caught there...Nice fish!
