Folks we would love to have you come out and support HOW through this Benefit tournament. Please do note that although we will likely have some of our wounded participate (some are event active members of BWE) this is mainly a Benefit so we will not be needing any loaner gear or volunteers to pair up with vets (although we can always use them for tournament related stuff!).
For those who do not know what HOW is.... How is an Award winning non-profit founded to help our wounded servicemen and servicewomen to relax and rehabilitate through the healing powers of kayak fishing. We are a 100% paddlesports based organization that spans nearly 50 chapters in the US plus Canada, the UK, and Australia. The funds raised from this tournament will be used for our local SoCal chapter, the NorCal Chapter, and others who need the financial help. At the event (and also Fred Hall and RockFish Derby(hopefully) there will also be present the 3rd annual KFS HOW Benefit kayak raffle. This year we are raffling a Jackson Cuda 14 fully equipped by Raymarine, YakAttack, Werner Paddles, and many others. Total value of the kayak is rising daily and is pushing 4k. Tickets will be for sale at the event for 5.00 each with no limit as to how many can be bought. Drawing for this raffle will be on July 4th. On behalf of Myself, the HOW team, and OEX team we hope to see you folks at this event. You really can not support a better non-profit than HOW though a kayak fishing tournament. Come out and help to support HOW and their kayak fishing program by doing what you love- Kayak Fishing.

Boundaries will be anywhere within the harbor. You may not go beyond the end of the 5 MPH zone within the channel.
