Good amount of fish out there. Next to one of the reefs, there was a school of big calico and sand bass. So big that it almost filled my elite 5 FF screen completely. It was easy Pickens from there. Mike and I both caught our first cabezon as well. Still no big halibut for us, yet. Bait barge report In oside is inaccurate. Don't expect sardines any time soon there.

The fishing was great! It was good getting to meet Brandon and Blake. First time at Oceanside artificial reef, I'm now a fan! Let's fish again soon!
Cheers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey guys! I am a past yakker and know the area decent enough. I have a boat now and if you guys are in the area when I head out, I'll gladly give you a ride to the far reef area and save you a couple miles of paddling.
I'll be participating in the halibut tournament saturday. If you want a ride, we will probably be there around 0800. Last edited by Kahouna; 04-08-2014 at 04:21 AM. Reason: Updating |
