Cool report. PST is a fun place and a good start for the Baja enthusiast. If camping is not your thing Casa Rosa was cheap and comfy, expcept it's 10 minutes from the launch.

Also try El Recreo tacos in Maneadero. West side, south of the La Buf turn off. For a sit down breakfast Jalisco just 1k south of El Recreo.
