Need your opinions on mounting kayak to mustang (2007) - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Hmm the Yakima rack only provides 18" of bar spread, not rated to carry a kayak. Unless i buy the extender kit, total of over $500 ='(

I really liked the Tbar Hitch set up but my mustang doesn't have a hitch. so thats atleast $400 for hitch a tbar.

How about just the simple foam blocks set up?
