And that technically goes all the way to your freezer. When the limit goes to 3 then you can legally have three in the freezer. He said you don't want to be showing up at the dock with 3 WSB in your cooler from a 3 day camping trip. And a multiday permit does not jive if you are setting foot on land between days. What I did not question was how a multiday permit DOES seem to contradict the possession rule. Unless it just overides it completely. Here's the contact persons info I got after emailing DFG central.
