I would like to join you but I don't have a way to transport my kayak yet. Either way, I'm a newbie to kayaks and from what I read, Leo is not the best place for beginners.

I'm close to you in Thousand Oaks though so hopefully we can fish together sometime in the future

Yea, that's why I read. Planning to take my Stealth 12 out in Channel Islands harbor a couple times to get comfortable before attempting a surf launching
