Good answer, Alaska is huge and I know I was missing King Salmon season by a few days. I was hoping something else we normally don't catch down here would be in full season somewhere I'd be.

Based on what you said, I think I'll try, Ketchikan. I'll have to make some changes to get there, but, I was leaning that way while doing research on my own and you confirmed it.

Again thanks, this is my first trip (but I hope not last) to your corner of the world.

This time I was looking for rental kayak and a short relaxing solo trip, I'm usually a C&R guy, but some fish are so good they get release into the grease. I hope to get back with more time tospend around the inside passage.
