Great recovery. The rod had to have a defect or hidden damage cause you sure didn't high stick. Thanks for posting. Mike

I've had it happen but with a pole I had tried to fix. As I was watching I though what fricking kind of pole is that " cause I won't be buying one of those". Like surfisher said you weren't even high sticking it. Chuck you had better luck than me, I missed the gaff shot and the thing turned and broke off the cheap ass Gamagatsu hook. Too bad on the no tuna but I find Yellows to be super tasty. Thanks for sharing Chuck.
