Just curious, what do people get out of this webcam? By day its 1000 yak tourists and maybe you get a glimpse of a fish someone else is loading up but you'll have to scan it for hours. By night its barely a discernible image. If its rained in SD theres a good chance its washed out so planning wheeles is a good idea w or w/o the vid. The angle is NW ward and not really of the "launch" or its conditions. I would get a lot more out of a weather station w wind n temp but that info is elsewhere anyway. I think its a big pita for Adi that could just go away.
Sorry if I ruined the cam stoke.

Zed...you can be so narrow minded...or in denial...
Some us us "locals" will take a last look before leaving home to compare the surf forecast with reality...you northern guys take a look at the camera and four hours later show up to a 5' beach break. And...if anyone has night vision goggles, you can actually see the night guys coming in high fiving and showing off their wsb catches with each other...word. Jim |

My favorite use is checking out the surf from 3 miles out. Let's me know if I'm going to get "wet".
The color in that first screenshot is slightly off.....but oh man....it's almost like ultra 4k with the proper pantone colors. |
