Hey what do I know? For some reason I thought of a pilchard so I googled images of them and some of them look similar to the one that was caught lol

Just out of curiosity ... what was your depth? My buddies and I hopped on the NSF today and they headed up in front of dog beach. Found a few schools on the bottom and got them to bite the yoyo. Not to deep either, I think like 120-160.
