  • I have a commitment from Greg Andrew to hold a free 2 hour kayak Halibut Seminar
  • We have also set up a lobster hoop netting seminar held by Jorge. Promar has donated 16 brand new hoop nets as raffle prizes for this event.
  • Every attendee will receive one free Sabiki 500 custom made by FulRac
  • We'll have a one hour Skype session with StinkyMatt watching him shovel snow off of his driveway in Vermont
  • The one...the only...Yani will cook an entire 50# White Sea Bass on a rotisserie using a lemon pepper rub wrapped in grape leaves.
  • More exciting events being planned.

I read caRpathon and figured it was either Irvine or SARL.

Last I heard, Irvine is not allowing private vessels anymore due to losing huge lawsuits!!! "ALL BOATING HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AT THIS TIME" http://www.irvinelake.net/

I'm down but Jennings doesn't allow SOT kayaks.

Campsites at Silverwood are about a half mile drive from the lake. Lake Perris is good if you get the special group campsite at Bernasconi Beach on the far side of the lake away from the main camping area. Float tubers normally launch there.

Bernasconi Beach is closed while they are working on the dam.

Or we can camp at 2 Harbor in Catalina island, there's a boat that can take kayaks there for a good price, I have been doing a little research on it and was thinking of bringing my family while I get dinner for them

That would be nice...but getting our gear over to the island would be a major pain...what have you found out?
