Absolutely it will.

When I got into fishing a few years ago, I fished off of a 10 foot Lifetime Tamarack kayak in the kelp for calicos multiple times a week. I'm a 6 foot 5, 200 pound man. Apparently my friends thought I was way too big for it, but I never minded. I got it for $200 and fished for free....

I even fished it on the central coast and offshore la jolla a couple times.

Since then, I have gotten a 14 foot X factor kayak. It's more comfortable and is rigged for fishing so it makes the experience better, but the 10 footer will absolutely be fine.
