Grew up around the corner from there, didn't kayak fishing back then but we did float the worm from shore quite a bit. I learned to ski in that toilet, wouldn't imagine jumping in now. But the was mid to late 90's

Glad to hear this about the lake. I was wanting to try it out, but I am a salt water guy that loves the tranquility of being offshore.

Went there 2 weeks ago and had a very similar experience but no fish. I fished the tires and it seemed like not a single bass boat cared that there were 2 kayakers fishing because people came writhing 5 feet from us. It sucked
