Thanks for the suggestions guys. As much as I'd love the expandable HD versions, they cost $60 for the pair. These harbor freight ones have a coupon for $9.99 each. I am thinking along the lines of maybe using a thick pvc and cutting it in half longitudinally. that could rest on top of the sawhorses maybe.
I wonder if it's ok to support the yak closer to each end where it is narrower. You think? or will the boat sag? |

I used the husky sawhorses and covered with carpet which helps sliding it off and on. I lined up the saw horses under my scupper holes then secured both saw horses with 2x4's in each side because they kept sliding around and moving out of place when i was unloading. Now i just back my truck up to the sawhorse and slide the kayak out of my truckbed onto them. Much more stable as a single unit nowimage.jpg
