will lowrance total scan transducer mount up with these new models? how about the helix 5 side imaging transducer like the one that fits on the ultra models? i have read that the through hull fits but you will loose down imaging?

I scoured the interweb looking for any that have been rigged and have only found stock factory walk arounds. Curiosity had me installing a Lowrance 83/200 transducer. I used the RAM Scupper mount, worked well. Not sure that big ol TS trans will fit. Wires were a very tight fit in the designated cavity.

the lowrance fits in better than the hummingbird. isn't johnson outdoors the parent company? engineers took a step back. hobie came to the plate with the updated mounting plate. thanks for that share. I've been scouring the web also. didn't even know that ram had a scupper mount. i have to check it. thanks.
