It's 400 pounds person, gear, motor, etc. On the solo skiff website there are pictures of it getting Coast Guard certified with 1500 pounds of weight sitting in it, and it was still floating above the gunwales. The motor will immediately take 60 pounds of it, but I'm thinking if someone is much over 250 pounds this boat is not for them.

Getting CF numbers was super easy at AAA. Just had to bring in the certificate that came with the boat, and the receipts for the boat and motor (or they'll charge you tax again). Had to go home and back, because I forgot the checkbook - but I live close. Like the DMV, they only take cash or check, and I filled out the check to the DMV.
