Thanks for sharing Beto. It is always beautiful at Silver Lake. The wind though is killer at times. I love having breakfast or lunch at the Restaurant (great food) by the RV resort across the street. That is were I stay, so as to have all the hook ups for my trailer. It also keep the wife happier. Can't wait for next trip up there.

Thanks for the updates. You have a sweet setup there. Also is your pup an Aussie?

Thanks guys. It was a fun relaxing trip. Usually I drive around from lake to lake. This time my truck didnt move until I left.

I hope I can make it up there at least once a month now that I have a mini camper. Yes, I recommend the restaurant too. I've ordered breakfast and lunch and it has always been good. On summer days, the wait can be long.

Cris, hes an aussie. He's the "mini" variety but on the bigger end of the weight for them at about 32lbs fully grown. Loves to go on the kayak.

Sweet, we have a standard around 45-50lbs but he doesn't love the water. Great dogs!

Thanks for the post! That looks absolutely awesome and peaceful.

I'm going to Silver Lake on Labor Day for a couple of days and then heading to Tahoe for the rest of the week.

Any advice on the bear box situation there?
