I am on my 3rd PA14, a 2016 model. The older models would take gallons of water via the front hatch from the surf launch. The newer models have a lid gasket that has greatly reduced that ingress. I lined my 2016 hatch lid with some HomeDepo window gaskets, and that has hugely reduced leakage. Recently I have been noticing about a gallon of water at the end of the day on calm days when I did not take any water over the bow. After each catch, I bucket the deck clean and suspect the lower rod tubes are the source of this ingress.

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah like you guys my original hunch was the water was getting in through the hatch, but being that mine is lined with the gasket under the hood I wasn’t certain if that could be the culprit. But it sounds like that’s it. I’m ok with a little water, just got to mount my batter up off the floor now that’s all.
