Great video. Looks like you have a sliding sinker. Do you just cast out and let it sink to the bottom or drop it straight down? Just wondering if the weight should be away from the hook during the presentation.

I use an egg sinker, bead and circle hook. Since I’m usually in or on top of the kelp I just drop it straight down. They really don’t care what it looks like. They usually hit if a few moments after it hits the bottom.
