Can you fit a plano box under the front of the seat? It looked like one probably would fit when I checked it out at Pt Loma.

If you had to choose between this or an OK Trident 15 which would you choose?
I have yet to paddle the Trident, so can not say. I would think the Trident would lean a little more to the "stable/payload" side and the 160 to the "speedy" I did not feel tippy at all, but I imagine the more weight above the water line the more tippy it would feel.

The Trident leans more to the "serious fishing machine to paddle" and the 160 to the "serious paddling machine to fish" IMO

Nice! You can put your sammi in a plano box. Looks like with that new seat your rear isn't going to get wet. Does the seat come off or the back fold down when transporting?

The back folds down with straps to hold it in place(uses the same straps that hold the seat up to hold it down). The seats that are in the new Wilderness System Kayaks are very very comfortable. If you get the time you should stop by Andys Shop and check them out.
