Looking for kelp in socal - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I usually head south at Dana Point, it does look like it's making a comeback, not what it used to be, but there.

Lots of kelp at the Cabrillo Mole in Avalon, but not in kayak range from mainland.

However, about 50 feet from the boat landing.
