Very true!, one has to keep the rod pointed at the bow the entire time when using heavy drag. While using 100lb braid on an HX Raptor, the initial strike nearly buried my bow on the newer outback. Better to use a PA, or other kayak with more buoyancy on the bow when using heavy drag.
