Need hlp with picture posting for an Alaska trip.

Just got back from Sitka, Alaska fishing for salmon, halibut, etc.

Want to make my usual long post with lots of pictures.

However, the website that I used to get IMG cods for the pictures no longer works.

I uploaded my pictures to Picasa 3. I used to be able to get IMG codes there. But can't do it anymore for a long time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Hashem

I have been using post image website.

https://postimages.org/

Just upload a photo and then once the photo has uploaded to the site, chose the "Hot link for forum" option for use on BWE. I have never logged in and used this service for free for many of my past posts.

If you want your photos to stay viewable forever, I think you have to sign up and pay for a membership. IDK, as I never considered it for long term. The photo below was posted from this site.
Cheers,

Thank you for the help.

I got it to work. Is there a way to make the pictures bigger? If not, that is fine too.

Thanks.

Glad you got it to work, the size of the photo is based on the size of the photo you upload. Keep in mind if you use big photos they are going to take a long time for people that have slow internet, but it is nice to have easy to see photos.

Most phones create photos huge files that need to be made smaller, and sometimes provide a post stamp image for fast viewing. perhaps you accidentally uploaded the poststamp image? The original example in my earlier post was 543kb. Below is is the same photo as before uploaded at a 4.8kb size.

Thanks for your help.

I use Nikon CoolPix waterproof camera for my fishing report pictures.
I can upload them to Picasa 3. Used to be able to get the IMG code before, but not for a long time.

I am happy with the size of the photos. Better than no pictures.

Currently working on the report. It will be a long one as usual.

I hope it is liked.
