Shorty - hate to say it but I think there is a perception that white sharks are all over the coasts of Australia. But reading these few posts along with the links, they make it sound like they are somewhat uncommon. Is this true? We had a swimmer attacked locally in Solana Beach which was extremely rare, we had never really had a documented attack in San Diego before. If it happened in Northern California, no one would have thought twice about it. But I always assumed that white sharks were everywhere in Australia.
