speaking of North County, I surfed Ponto today and saw a ton of birds working about 1/2 mile out. They were definitely following a school of something around for about 20-30 minutes. Water was super clear.

I have some friends who were surf fishing that area last week and said the birds were working all over around there. One of them ended up with a LARGE (30ish pounds) striper. Pretty bizarre.
